I’m just a normal regular average more than slightly insane college student. When I’m not working at the local library, studying my brains out or reading fanfiction on the Internet, I can be found banging my head on my keyboard writing stories that were largely inspired by Cirque du Soleil’s Kooza.I saw the show almost two years ago and the characters invaded my brain. They took up residence quite firmly and I started writing fanfiction. But the plot bunnies kept coming and growing and combining and slowly the fanfiction evolved into original writing. I’m still working on converting all the blatantly Cirque bits to my own worldbuilding.

In an attempt to appease the plot bunnies, my NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) novel for 2010 was based off Kooza. I spewed out 50,000 words of horrible writing and realized that the novel I had just written was actually the last novel. I needed to write a first one. Then another plot bunny ballooned into its own novel and I found myself with a trilogy of novels, all demanding to be written and eventually published.

The stuff I post here is pretty much going to be all connected to that. Since the novels (Roughdrafts for books 1 and 3 are written) eventually will get published (in like, a decade or so) I’ll try to keep the actual novel bits to myself and the people helping me actually make my writing readable but there are still a million other bunnies clamoring to be written. They get written so I can stay mostly sane and since I love feedback I post them online. If something bugs you about my writing, tell me about it. What doesn’t work? What does? Why does it work/not work?
